processing phases

01.

Harvesting

Our coffee is hand-picked. This ensures that only high quality coffee cherries are harvested.

02.

wet processing

Cherries are processed using traditional wet processing. After removal of the pulp (pulping), the fermentation process takes place. The coffee is then washed in a washing channel and divided into three different grades.

03.

drying

Our coffee beans are sun-dried. A team of up to 100 people constantly rake and turn the coffee beans to ensure they evenly dry. This process is continued until the moisture content is brought down to 10.5%.

04.

dry mill

After the drying process, we send our coffee to a local mill to remove the husk from the bean. During this process the green beans are sorted by size, weight and class.

05.

Quality control

Our expert Q-Grader tests and blends each of our coffees and differentiate them into specialized batches based on flavor, taste, and quality.

06.

Ready for shipment

We ship our specialty green coffee worldwide to clients and roasters.
